I had filed Criminal WRIT petition in Bombay High court against the builder for varios irregularities &perjury in Consumer court
WRIT was dispossed of by giving liberty to file report u/s154 of Cr procedure code to nearest police station.
Complaint was filed u/s154 to police station but still FIR is not registred by police.
What is the remedy to expedite FIR?
I have to file WRIT u/s482 to HC again?
order of HC is not binding on police sation to file FIR ?
Adv. Sagar R. Jadhav (Expert) 05 December 2015
You must file application to police station for file report u/s 154 of crpc and give intimation in that failing to file said report is contempt of court.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 05 December 2015
What is the exact direction of the High Court?

Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 05 December 2015
When you say that the "liberty to file report under 154 cr.p.c.", it is not a direction to Police, to register FIR. In this case, you have to approach the magistrate u/s 156 (3) Cr.p.c..
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 06 December 2015
If police is nor registering case, file direct complaint to Magistrate.
K.S.Srinivas (Expert) 10 December 2015
Police not registering FIR - Magistrate has power under section 156(3) Cr.P.C. to order Police to register FIR.

Approach the court.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 13 December 2015
Well advised by experts, f police are very casual or reluctant to register FIR, approach a magistrate court with a private complaint u/s 156(3) cr.p.c.
