Relieving letter can cost you Rs. 1 lakh. No other alternative. You will have to compromise with your career, if not able to pay the amount to the company. Terms & conditions of employment has to be signed with due care before acceptance.
However, you may better get examined the language of terms of appointment by some services law expert, if he can find anything void in law in the terms & conditions.

You have signed on the document by your free will and thus have awarded the right to claim to your company.
The reasonableness of the matter can be opined after due examination of all docs on record and inputs by you.

As you have agreed and signed the agreement with the company you are binding to the terms of the same. But if you want to challenge the clause of the agreement, then approach a smart lawyer in your city.
But these terms are implied in offer letter and no special bond signed by them I believe that in India company can't charge such type of fee in India One HR told me that it is totally illegal if company asking u pay money just for to leave it early also they have given any type of training to me
