Rennovation of chawl house

Sir,

I am planning to Renovate (1+1) my chawl house in Santacruz. But Builder is not allowing us to renovate because we rejected to sign on the agreement copy under SRA scheme. We are ready to submit the application but not want to enter into any agreement with builder as of date.

Pls advise me legal formalities on part BMC / Police / Builder to renovate my house.

if the landlord is the builder you would need his consent to carry out renovation /alterations in said house . make an application in writing to the builder .wait for his response . if no response is received send another reminder . contact a local lawyer
