Reopen or additional written argument

(Querist) 22 October 2013 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir

CRA was listed before the Hon’ble High Court Bombay for arguments and during the course of arguments some of the legal issues pleaded in the CRA remained to be pleaded and argued.

The matter is now closed for orders and although attempts were made by advocate permit him to submit written arguments/ argue on the remaining issue the same was not allowed by the Hon’ble Court and Hon’ble Judge may consider the same if any case law in support of reopening the case/ allowing submission of written arguments after the matter is closed for order, is submitted before the Hon’ble Court .

whether a case can be reopened or additional written arguments can be submitted in a matter once a case is closed for judgments/order.

chances are very poor at this stage.

in case court permits such additional arguments there will never be an end to such submissions . you had your opportunity to argue your case . let orders be passed . in case you are aggrieved you can always go in appeal

I do agree with the advice of Ajay.
