Shasankha! Whether you hve got citizenship or only residentship of India?
If you have become permanent resident then there is no need of any document as asked by you and you can do any business or job here.
If you are not still resident then you shall have to take permission from Ministry of Foreign Affairs before you legally do any business or job.

For Residential Permit there are restrictions on taking up employment in India, you might be on a tourist visa hence you need to go back to the country of your origin and file papers for work permit only after which you are eligible to take up a job here.

You have got absolute legal authority to choose any kind of work in India if the Employer decides to employ you. The residents permit can be extended from time to time. If you have any of your parents Indian then apply for Person Of Indian Origin Card which would make your task easier.
