Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 21 April 2011 This query is : Resolved 

i have filed a divorce petition in the family court,since my husband is working abroad,the court sent the letter,and the acknowledgment is not recieved yet,the hearing date is next month.if the ad is not recieved, what can i do,to proceed with the case and get divorce.?

may court order to again fresh notice to your husband or issued the newspaper. if continuesly avoid that may give exparte order

I advise to wait for another date as more time is required for serving distant notice. Divorce is not given instantly you need to wait for it.
