Responsible for National Highway Maintenance

Sir
I was travelling on my two wheeler in a National Highway. There was a pothole on the highway and myself with my bike fell into the pothole and i was injured.Since i wear helmet my life is saved. Now i want to make the responsible person for Highway maintenance to be punished under the law and repair all the pot holes.
What should i do? Where i need to complaint . Please suggest, this may save the life of many innocent families.

Send legal notice to the National Highways Authority of India before filing any case.

You can file a writ petition in the nature of PIL either in high court or in supreme court.
Before that do lodge complaint with Highway Authority of India.
