Restraining order

(Querist) 19 August 2014 This query is : Resolved
Respected Experts,

A party after exhausting all the options to stop the leakage from his neighbor’s house wants to send him a legal notice and file a case in cooperative court. The neighbor is very violent, aggressive and abusive man and based on earlier experience the party is scared that once the neighbor receives the legal notice he will get violent and may harm the party physically. Party can approach the police after the act of violence has been committed, please guide on what needs to be done to prevent the neighbor from abusing and assaulting. Thank You.

1. Send the legal notice and follow it with a written complaint filed at the nearest police station. The police will interfere and warn him.
