Return of gold, silver ornaments and gifts from wife

(Querist) 22 December 2015 This query is : Resolved
me and my wife separated on 7/4/15. she filled dvc,125 crpc, 420, 307 ipc, etc. at the time of marriage we have given gold and silver items as per marriage talks those are worth of 15 lakhs. we gave a counter for her dvc stating all those as false allegations, in that we have asked her to return all the gold, silver and gifts. we have tax bills(we didn't take them at the time of buying, we didn't know its importance at the time of buying so, we have adjusted the date of purchase and brought them) and marriage photos as an evidence. is the evidence sufficient or any video proof is required(we don't have marriage video. i think it's with her). how to proceed if she won't give or allege that we didn't give or state that the items were kept by her parents only(show fake bills) ??

Just think that your life is more valuable or the 15 lakh rupees? You are loosing your life to gain the ornaments. Just thik that your wife was more valuable to you or her ornaments? If you can forget her why you cant forget these ornaments? If the ornaments is of such huge value, why you taken this hurdle for her?

Now come on question:- the video record photo is of no value as in photo these may be artificial or may be MTP. (MTP means Mang Tang Kar Pehni Hui (Generally this term is used for luxury Saree in a party), This is tought to me recently by my wife).
The bills you know, can be obtained by any body at any time.

Under section 3 of the Dowry Prohibition Act 1961 if the gold given at time of marriage is not entered in a list, signed by the both parties, it is in definition of Dowry and the punishment of giving ornaments to your wife is 5 year imprisonment.

So forget past, enjoy a good life.

Well advised by the expert J K Agrawal.

Try to save marriage with the help of relatives of both sides, if not possible try for mutual consent divorce.

Court cases would ruin best days of life of both.
