Hi
We are in process of taking up PoA & Agreement of sale for a prime 310.09 acres land in Bangalore city.
Due to non payment of Revenue tax since 1941 Government has acquired the land from landlords. In Sept' 2007 High court of Karnataka has passed judgement in the favor of landlords asking Govt. office to restore land back to landlords after collection of dues and taxes within 4 months time from the date of judgement. Till date no payment done and matter remains pending as per the information provided to us. No further petition filed by either party as adviced.
First of all how can i verify this information and is it possible that giving a valid reason in writing we can still pay the taxes and restore the land to landlords. How much normally does it take?
Secondly please advice me if there is any online service where i can confirm the site location with survey no 137/p1, BM Kaval village, Kengeri, Hobli. We have been informed as per Government notifications survey number is hidden.
Please provide me with your valueable advice.
Thank you
Best Regards

The tax /revenue arrears be offered by a treasury challan to collector if he passes the challan and accepts the payment it would be deemed state has no objection.
BUT TO TELL YOU THE PROPER COURSE IN MY OPINION IS TO SEEK TIME ENLARGEMENT FROM THE HIGH COURT.
I am not aware of the site you are looking for.

Sorry I cannot become agree with prabhakar or rajeev.
High Court must have given way to deposit the arrears of tax in its judgment so deposit accordingly within a fixed time was to be made which has not been done by original owners of land so as per verdict of High Court, compliance has not been made by them so they cannot claim any benefit and thus whole land goes in favour of State.
It only depends upon further initiation of legal action by those lost owners to get further order from high court or Supreme Court to deposit or not.

Site specifically for a village land in high court is not available but if you provide the writ petition no. wherein such land was decided then the exact link can be provided to you.
