Right on grandparents property for grand daughters

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 03 February 2010 This query is : Resolved
Dear sir/Madam,
I have been married in May 2009.My grandparents had a house which is being occupied by their 3 sons out of which one is my father. Now they are going to sell the house which is not a registered property on their (my father & his brothers) name. Will I get any share in this house as grand daughter .If so what will be my share?
The house is still registerd on my grand parents and no will has been created by them.

Your father and your uncles are eligible for equal shares. You can claim your share from your father's share alone. 1/2 share of your father's share if you are the only child of your father.
