"how much is private" there are several debates with respect to the right to privacy and technologies such as surveillance cameras, why you believe that technology does or does not violate the right to privacy of an individual.

What exactly ou want from Us. See every public place which requires such survelliance has to be installed and there a individual cannot claim his right of privacy but at times where his individaul intrest is obstructed and blocked there he can claim his right of privacy which cannot be denied also. it depends on the facts and circumstances. eg a phone no is traced and tapped if only he is dnager to the public at large or some criuninal action is be done by him or is in the process of it. it all depends on the factual matrix of the individual and so also is right of privacy thereon.

it is in public and not in private, hence you can't claim privacy in this way.
This is the question of safety and security.
