I have a rental agreement with my parents starting from May-09 to March-10
But the stamp paper used has date July-09
Hence is that agreement a valid agreement that can be used for HRA-related submission documents..

If there is a clause stating that the lease is deemed to have commenced from May 2009, it can be used even if it is dated July 2009.

Yes it is valid because rent period is from may 9 to mar 10 if it is shown in the rent agreement clearly that rent period is from may to march
