Rti

(Querist) 27 February 2012 This query is : Resolved
Dear ALL:

How do I File RTI Application to get the other person's (Spouse) Income?

I already have submitted certain documents to the Court related to the Income of the Person, which clearly shows that the Person is earning well. Court requires certified proof of income.

What should I write in my RTI Application?

I've heard that my RTI Application should have Public Interest in it. How do I show that my RTI has Public Interest.

Can I write in it that the Person is telling lies to the Court about being unemployed, but actually is employed. Could this lead to Public Interest?

Your Advice & Suggestions Required.

Thanks.

the person working in government servant or not, if govt servant you can get from rti no need for public interest. formal application is enough.

RTI is not panecea.

You can file RTI with government departments only.

But you can call the records of any company in court by witness summons or CrPC 91, as applicable.

Get her pan number by following link and you would get the returns filed by her.

https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/knowpan.do

Next you may ask court to send summons to her employers place to get her salary details.Register maintained by employer (muster) / photographs / recording of her at the time she goes in goes out of the office could be useful.

# Kapoor!

RTI applications are duly admissible upon those non-government institutions which directly or indirectly get state assistance or recognition.

I agree with raj kumar makkad statement ;
"RTI applications are duly admissible upon those non-government institutions which directly or indirectly get state assistance or recognition."

Anybody who have any query about this post by makkad, just read article 12 of constitution of India
12. Definition In this part, unless the context otherwise requires, the State includes the Government and Parliament of India and the Government and the Legislature of each of the States and all local or other authorities within the territory of India or under the control of the Government of India.
