I Filed an application under RTI to concerned govt office an deven after 60 days i did not get any repl, shall i file a complaint against the PIO in Consumer Form when i have paid something fees or money i have become consumer?

RTI query is not in their juridiction. Why do not yu file appeal before CIC or FIA.

Yes, Mr Sudhir Kumar I have read some article related to RTI is now within the juridiction of Consumer form to get the compensation I am not interest to make money out of corupted people poket but i just want to show them whatever can i do to get my right that is INFORMATION.

I am not sure that i can file complaint or not or that article which i have read is proper or authentcated , I will once more go with that article and update it in this web

Dear Querist
if any person/ PIO is not ready to give the reply/information upon a RTI application within 30 days the applicant has right to file first appeal before higher authority/appellate authority. Consumer court can not interfare in these type of the cases.

File first appeal.

Though you can take recourse in Consumer Protection Act as well, but the judgment of Karnataka HC in this regard has different facts than mere refusal of information.
