Can I ask under RTI act for the transaction details of an NGO that runs on Govt. Grant? As I heard, more than Rs. 12 lakh was taken out from the bank account in the first month after release of the Govt. Grant. There is no proper account of that money. please see my query http://www.lawyersclubindia.com/experts/experts_message_display.asp?group_id=42171 about that account.

RTI is complete disclosure of any information which must be material in nature and should not c come under section 8 & other relevant provisions such as official acts,Intellectual rights etc
File an RTI and may see the results from PIO and there may not be any hesistation in asking any queries from PIO who have the power whether same can be provided or not?
If not satisfied then go for appeal and may file appeal/complaint to CIC
