Under RTI Act, you cannot ask for personal details like or personal documents like withdrawal cheque leaf or withdrawal slip as they constitute private affair and not liable for public account. Moreover, if the transaction pertains to co-operative banks, you will not get it as RTI Act does not apply to co-operative banks.

Blood relative or no blood relative, you are barred from seeking personal and private information of any person. Banks are bound to maintain confidentiality about the accounts of their customers.
Why don't you ask the information from your grand father or grand mother, if they withdrew the amount and you feel that the amount has been misused? Only your grandfather or grand mother has the right to get their account related information from the bank, if they feel that someone has played fraud with their money.

You apply to bank on basis of heirship

As a nominee or heir of your grandfather/ grandmother, who claimed the balances of their account after their death. Only the said claimant can ask if he/she had any doubt in any transaction.
