Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 29 April 2010 This query is : Resolved
My date of birth is 06.01.1949 and I have taken one insurance policy of HDFC
Standard Life on 15.12.09. But in the brochure of the policy its mentioned that
the policy is only eligible for 18 to 60 years only.

And on 15.12.09, my age was 60 yrs and 11 month.
Now the question is that the policy is valid ? as far as my age point of view.(Under the IRDA law)

Rightly suggested by Mr. Aman. How the agency has over-looked this. Seek your refund and also lodge a complaint with Insurance Ombudsman regarding this issue.
