hiii,
Iam Yogesh residing in Mumbai would like t ask whether a secretary of CHS ltd is liable to get salary ? wht if he has passed a resolution in AGM to get salary?can he do so?

As per provision of Co-operative Housing Society act if 2/3rd majority of member pass the resolution in AGM then it is accepted as guideline for operation of that society.

As per terms and conditions of the Byelaw of CHS, in AGM, if the majority of the members as noted in the byelaw should accept the proposal.

Secretary , chairman etc are only office bearers of CHS they can't receive salary. Nowhere across I found such a prevision quoted by Mr.Bharat.If you appreciate this answer please click the thank you button on my profile.
