I was working with a small firm. They did not pay my salary for 3 months as they said it was fund shortage. At the end I was terminated and told that settlment will be done soon.its been 2 months since and I did not receive any money. Still they are saying there is shortage of funds. Plz guide me what can I do in this case.

Have you been terminated in writing or it was verbal?
If it was verbal did you write that you have been terminated from employment of designation………..in company…………..by Mr/Ms………..designation……….. on dated…………(with effect from dated……………)in office and were asked to not to attend office from dated……………
What is this establishment registered as: Commercial,Industrial?
What is its line of business:IT,ITeS,banking etc?
How many maximum persons are employed in it at any point of time?
The Redg Office,Corporate Office of the company, and your reporting office was located in which state?
What was your designation and nature of duties?
Do you have leave policy, HR policy,Service Rules and Regulations,Conduct and Discipline Rules that are mentioned in the appointment letter?
Was any appointment letter,salary slip of each month,PF number with a/c slips,ESIC card,Form16, FnF statement given to you?
Are you a member of any employee’s/Trade Unions?
What was your monthly salary?

Although it was a verbal communication. But I decided to move forward. Company is registered as proprietor. No hr policies or pf is in practice. 10 to 12 employees at a time. Basically an event management company. I have an appointment letter which states my monthly remuneration. But no salary slip as it was paid in cash.
