Sale deed of land property

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 30 January 2011 This query is : Resolved
I inherited an acre of land as my share as per my late mother’s will. In the will the extend of my share is described by the area in cents and the four boundaries (property owners, road etc) surrounding my piece of land. My question is, if I want to sell it to two people in 2 pieces, how do I describe the extent of each piece in the sale deed? Do I have to do a survey of the land etc? Thanks.

you can get survey of land through surveyor and get map of both the part.

You can draw a revised map after the survey of the land. The new map will tell you the boundaries and description.

Show the entire land with Boundaries & in the Map and make two bits in the Map and red mark the Portion sold as one piece and show the same Map in another sale deed and show the other part in the Red marking - In each sale deed the other part is shown
