Sale of a property

Can i sell my property i inherited from my mother when i was 1 year old , in deed it's mentions me a minor and property was handed down by my mother ,my mother has died .do i need to change the minor status to sell my property ? , can i change the ownership to someother person without changing the minor status, unfortunately i also don't have the death certificate of my mother with me

After attaining the majority you aa become the owner of the property automatically. You shall obtain the legal heir certificate from the Tahsildar concerned.

Presumably you have already attained majority, you can sell it as absolute titleholder.

Yes, if you have attained majority then you can certainly sell property.

Section 11 of The Indian Contract Act specifies that every person is competent to contract provided:
He should not be a minor i.e and individual who has not attained the age of majority i.e 18 years in normal case and 21 years if a guardian is appointed by the Court. You can sale the property after entering your name as a major in ROR

Yes, you can sell the property if you have attained majority i.e. attained the age 18 years. To my knowledge, the distinction of 21 years, where guardian has been appointed. has since been deleted.
