Hi,
I am working in a private Bank where I had developed a personal relationship with an outsourced lady employee. Both of us are married and use to share our family problems.
One day one of my colleague informed me that the lady was spreading some negative rumor against me which was effecting my professional dignity. I immediately chased the lady but she denied the fact and as I was furious she was avoiding me to answer. On the next day after I received the information I was able to speak to the lady in the evening over phone and threatened her to visit her house and speak regarding it with her husband and also her mother.
On the very day she becoming scared visited my house and seek help from my family members but had not received any positive response from them to stopping me visiting her in laws and so after some hot exchange with my family and left my house.
I after receiving the news over phone from my house tried contacting the lady but her phone was switched off.
Hence, I inquired her return to her in law house from her husband and as her husband confirmed me that she had not returned till then I got worried and visited her parental house on consultation of her husband to located her if she had gone there.
I reaching her parental resi had only inquired from her mother about her from the doorstep and came down in the street waiting for her return.
After few minutes a received an call from the P.S. and understood that the lady went to P.S. and was lodging a complain against me. I on request of the police official went walking down to the P.S. to address the issue leaving my car parked on the street.
Reaching the P.S. no one spoken to me but I found that a FIR got registered against me. Next day I was taken to the court and was send to JC for 14 days. Understanding the same the lady on the next day had submitted an affidavit stating that the matter happened due to misunderstanding and she wants to withdraw the complain and have no objection if I am granted a bail.
Returning from the jail I understood from the lady the police officials when a written complain with the true facts were given told the lady that nothing can be made out by them on the complain submitted to fulfill the the desire of the lady to detain me for few hours on that night so that I cannot make any chaos in her parental house which will in turn effect her family reputation and directed a two liner complain which the lady drafted and submitted. More over the lady had also send the copy of affidavit to the PS so that the case can be closed. Several efforts were also given my me to get the police report of the criminal case submitted to court so that I can proceed accordingly for the closure of the case but they remain reluctant and asking for undue favour.
Presently I am under suspension from job and receiving 1/3 salary which is too little to feed my family of 5 nos. dependents but as per company policy knowing all they cannot really help me. It happened as there was an paper publication about the matter on the day I was released from jail.
Lastly, I have evidences of all the communications done from my house to police station call including the calls happened between me and her husband. There are too many difference in the FIR submitted in the court by police with the reality which is attached in an excel format with the mail.
Request you to suggest me the way ahead so that I can resume my job by taking clearance from court.

Since the lady is willing it is better to take her help and get the case withdrawn. Contact an advocate. Laying hands on the case number is not that difficult and for this police cooperation is not needed.
If the case is from WB , you can go for quashing to high court to end the case soon.
