The Ground on which divorce is sought for is to be proved by the Petitioner,Respondent can plead in the counter that no documentary evidence is placed before court,The Petitioner can file a Petition for medical examination of Respondent to prove his case and examine the expert also to prove his case that is from petitioners angle to prove his case,Respondent can refute the allegations set forth in counter. In u r query u said ''I have to file a counter against the Petitioner'' How are u allowed to file counter when u r daughter is Respondent? It is for your daughter to appear before court and defend the case file against her in Matrimonial disputes they cannot be represented by a POA!!!as your daughter knows the facts better than any one else..
