Section 32a of registration act, 1908

what, if the Photo and Finger prints of the person presenting the document are not affixed to the document? Is it affects the validity of the registration?

The presentant of the document must affix his photo and thumb in the document. Otherwise, the Sub Registrar does not accept such documents. If he acts on behalf of others, the original person's photo is also compulsory.

Thank You sir. But, in the document (sale deed of immovable property) phot and finger prints of Person who presented were not affixed in section 32A form. But it was registered. Then, what is the validity of the registration as per law? please answer me.

Apply to the District Registrar concerned that the photo and thumb are missing and request for rectification. After examination, you will give information and if necessary it will be ordered to rectify the omission.

It is a mandatory requirement.
The said provisions of law referred by you is given below:
32A. Compulsory affixing of photograph, etc.—Every person presenting any document at the proper registration office under section 32 shall affix his passport size photograph and fingerprints to the document: Provided that where such document relates to the transfer of ownership of immovable property, the passport size photograph and fingerprints of each buyer and seller of such property mentioned in the document shall also be affixed to the document.
In either case, the party aggrieved by such registration of document is free to challenge its validity before the Civil Court.
