Sir,
Since my cheque book is exhausted I approached my Bank for sending money to my another account maintained in a different bank. Both these bans are on NEFT system. But I was told that for this purpose also I have to issue a cheque leaf> I want to ask whether bank cannot use debit voucher for deducting money from my account for sending the money by NEFT ? Please clarify.

your bank can guide you as to procedure for trnasferring funds through NEFT

This is not legal problem but a technical one.

If I am not satisfied by the decision of Banking Ombudsman, then what will be my next course of action. May I go to court against the decision of Banking Ombudsman ? Please clarify.

All ur queries seem to be academic in nature. who will go to the court for solving this issue? Why dont u get a new cheque book and finish the matter?

Dear Mr. Gupta u opined that the query is academic. If I can read all the acts myself and find the answer then why I will ask this question in this forum ?
Who will prevent me from going to court I think again u will comment that this query is also academic lol
Presently I am staying out of Kolkata and my cheque book is exhausted. Now the new procedure is if I give requisition to my bank for a new cheque book they will not hand over the cheque book to me as was being done earlier. They will send it to my home address. Since I am out of station and my residence is locked, I cant receive it. and it will be returned to my bank again. THIS IS THE PROBLEM.

You can instruct your banker to send the cheque book at your new address and thus yo shall get it where you want it.

Bank may not send the cheque book to my new address unless I give them proof of residence. I am staying in a rented residence at Birbhum where the Landlord is not ready to give me a rent receipt or sign in any leese deed agreement. So how I will prove my proof of residence to my Bank.

bank will not change address in its records unless you give some proof . unless you have rent receipt or copy of agreement or lectricity bill or nay other document showing that you are residing in your new address bank wont change address in its records .
