Hello Experts, I need some guidance for my problem which is now im facing with difficulties, I got (arranged)married 15 months before, the girl was my distant relation. But I come to know that she dosent even like me and this marriage. I try to convince her to change her mind and try to be normal in front of our parents and others, I thought if they come to know there will be problems she could face. But I had to leave with in 3 weeks for my work to abroad. After that she want to go with her parents house. I disagreed that. in that time she told about our married life to my parents, they did as I thought, my parents called her parents and talk about this matter, they ask to leave her with them for some time so they could change he mind. but after some months she came alone at night with some one also asked her jewelry. my parents denied they asked her about their parents about this incident. no proper answer until now. After few months her one of uncle came and collect her all jewelry also said he want to end everything when I am available in there with out going court. my parents and me agreed and gave all jewelries. but last month I went to India I wish to spoke with them they just refuse give no interest to this matter. When I shout to her uncle he told me that she is changed now and ready to live with me. I demand proper answer for her behavior. When I ask they said if you aren't ready then you can go to the court also I wish to speak to her in person again they simply refused and just passing days, I told them i had to finish this matter with in 20 days bcs that only i got. And now again they demand me to come India and speak with them to decide further. Now im mently depressed with that girls behavior, i don't wish to continue my marriage life with her. Now what shall i do. Note: We didn't enter married (sexual) life. Im 34 now.

if your marriage was not consummated you should have applied for annulment within period of one year . file for divorce now as your wife does not want to stay with you .

Hi Ajay, First of all My Thanks for your Advice. But the issue is her uncles now play game with us. They doesn't want to tell where she is now. When we force about police case they inform to us that if im ready to take her with me then only we can see her in person. And I think she did and do whatever they told to her. That make me sick. If I lodged divorce case what would happen I have no idea. This is why I need advise from experts. Thanks. Sadagopu

You are 34 years old and your marriage has not been consummated. Her uncle is playing games.
Since she is from known family, take help of near relatives of both side, common friends and effective people of society. Try to have amicable solution.
If not possible to live together, explore the possibility of Mutual Consent Divorce.
Contested divorce case may take 4-5 years and other complications are associated with it. Contact a local lawyer in such situation.
