(Querist) 18 August 2016 This query is : Resolved
I have been undergoing a training course in Geological Survey of India training institute for six months8.The post was recommended by UPSC.But before joining in GSI I appeared Assam Civil services(mains)exam 2014 and selected for the post of ACS junior grade and the result had been declared after joining in GSI.Now my problem is that before joining in GSI I had submitted a service bond of Rs 7lacs assuring GSI to offer my service for a period of five years. But now I intend to join in the post of ACS as my husband is working under Assam govt. Now my question is that can the service bond be transferred from GSI(Cental govt) to Assam Govt??plz help me sir.If the bond is not transferred i will have to repay the surety bond amount to GSI..

Check with both employers.

But one of Administrative Officers of GSI told me that the new employer would make fresh bond for the remaining period of the bond..i.e. excluding six months from the bond period of five years..Is there any legal guideline in this regard??

I was expecting your supplementary question, as I apprehended your original query to be an academic query.

Anyway, if you have already been told about that by one Administrative Officer, why did you feel the need to ask this question here? They can be expected to know their service rules. But you should not expect any change in my opinion, as already conveyed, on the basis of your query with deficient facts.
