This has reference to the news conference on Monday by the society of SC in regard to middle class income group can get case argued in SC. Please confirm whether any employee can file a case against a company with Hon'ble Supreme Court (SC Society) instead of going to local / regional labour court / civil court directly.

Dear Mr. Das,
The jurisdictional heirarchy of courts cannot be disturbed under the scheme. Cases can be filed only in the concerned competent Court/Tribunal of jurisdiction as per the existing laws/ Constitutional provisions. The society is meant only for providing legal services to the middle income group citizens i.e. citizens whose gross income is not exceeding Rs.60,000/- p.m. or Rs. 7,50,000/- at a subsidised rates, as per the schedule of fees prescribed in the Middle Income Group Scheme of the society.
