if vat paid in works contract, again service tax will be paid on same works c
ontact ?
2) if principal paid the service tax then again sub contractor will pat the service tax on yhe same works ?

If it is on the basis of composite scheme then on the same value service tax and VAT has to be paid. Otherwise, service tax is not payable on the value which attract VAT.
