Logically it is illegal to collect Service Tax by the Central Government. For what the Central Government is collecting the Service Tax? If the Service Tax is to be levied, it is only the State Government that can charge Service Tax because Services are provided in that particular State therefore Central Government has no right to collect the Service Tax. Why the Service Tax is charged on the Public and for what it is charged? For what the State Government imposes Government Electricity Duty on the public? why the Government allows the Electricity providers to charge to public Fuel Adjustment Charge?
