If One of the female employee is misbehaved or physically assaulted by a male employee of the same organisation , please let me know the their penalties for the same, please guide.

Dear Anonymous,

I would like to add further that the male employee can be proceeded against by instituting a departmental enquiry in this regard beside the victim can on her own can institute civil and criminal proceedings as well and all these can run concurrently/simultaneously.

There shall be a committee constituted in every organisation to oversee complaints of sexual harassment to woman employees at work place as per the guidelines of the Apex Court. In accordance with the service rules of the organisation the committee would after investigation/enquiry recommend appropriate action. It may range from a warning to termination from service.
