You could support or could be a volunteer in the organisations which are active on this.

Why not? You are free to make any voluntary survey, provided the women are ready to open their heart before you and you are also ready to provide them adequate safety, security of life and respect in the society for them and also secure their means of livelihood after they reveal the truth by replying your questions.
Not every woman has courage to take a firm stand against her sexual harassment. Nothing can compel them to take a stand when comes the question of their respect, livelihood & security to life.
By the way how your query is concerned with the business law?

This Act is going to be damp squib for the reason that the rules published under the Act impose equal punishment to the complainant to the accused in the event of failure of proving the complaint. The first step to put your efforts to get the Act actively implemented, you move RTI applications before the D.C., the authority which constitutes the Local Complaint Committee about its formation and number of complaints it is receiving etc. And using your imagination, you can put your efforts to involve yourself in eradicating/reducing this social malady.

Acts, whatsoever may be hasrsh, are usually destined to go damp squib in the absence of proper education of masses and ineffectiveness of the law implementing machinery.

The awareness campaign is a good ting and for social cause, there is no legal hassle in doing it in a properly organised manner without taking any advantage on selfish motives.
