Sister not vacating my house

(Querist) 22 February 2014 This query is : Resolved
Sir, In year 2011 my sister start residing in my house on my verbal permission which is in my name in revenue records.I am living in separate house and city. Now she is not vacating my house. What should I do to vacate the same as early as possible because I want to shift in that house in April 2014.If I go to court it may take time by court. What is the other method, whether with help of police is possible ?

well disputes between family are best resolved with the help of family elders . since she is a close family member issue has to be resolved amicably .

legally you can issue her notice to vacate . file suit for eviction .

Yes, if amicable settlement fails then suit for eviction of licensee is the only option left. Police is of no help. officially.
Good luck.

Take the help of elders and common family friends.

What she want and to what extent her demand is justified and can be fulfilled.

Try for amicable solution, legal path is time consuming and costly.

Very nicely advised by ajayji and barmanji. Nothing to add more.

agreed with Mr. Goyal, as to what extent your sister is claiming from your end. I think, there should be a reasonable cause in between both of you. Try for amicable settlement.
