where two SLP are having common question of law for consideration the Apex Court clubs the two SLPs and decide them with a single judgement. This is a common practice among all level of courts

Although it's an academic query if two special Leave petitions have common question of law and facts and decided by a common Judgement they can be clubbed together and heard to save the precious time of the court and to prevent unnecessary hearing, delay and Litigation.
