Slp and caveat

(Querist) 02 April 2012 This query is : Resolved
We have won a case in Punjab & Haryana High Court(Scales). Office side has filed SLP in Supreme Court. It got diary no. on 5th January 2012. After removing all deficiencies got registered on 10th February, 2012. Although we have filed ‘CAVEAT’ in the court. Neither we have not received any notice in the case nor have they got date in the case. Our CAVEAT’s date is going to expire on 6Th May. My questions are:
1. Do we have to file ‘CAVEAT’ once more?
2. For how long will they continue to drag this case in this manner(not giving notice to us and getting the date for the SLP).

Dear Karan
if you have filed the Caveat Petition before filling the SLP, the court is bound to give you the information/notice otherwise not. if you filed before and the time of the Caveat is about to expire, you should filed another caveat petition.
there is no time limit in indian judicial system.
feel free to call

As your caveat is already pending before SC, no question arise to pass any order on SLP without first hearing you so you are not loosing anything and appeal is a guaranteed legal right of your opposite party to which he is availing which you might have exhausted once the impugned order/judgment under appeal might have been decided against you.

Sir(raj kumar makkad ji) What is this impugned order/judgement under appeal? Office side had filed review petition in the High Court and it was dismissed.
