Hi! Me & my wife jointly own a property in mumbai. Even the Home Loan is joint. As i am always touring, i want to give her sole rights to sign any document pertaining to the said property. What kind of document/agreement we should sign. Kindly advice.

However,if you wish to Transfer the property then execute and registered POA.

Execute Power Of Attorney in favour of your wife also get it registered.

You can issue a General Power of Attorney giving powers to your wife to manage your share of the property. The Power of Attorney shall be on Rs.500/- stamp paper and needs to be registered.

For purpose stated only a POA with notarization should be executed.No registration required nor advisable.
