Property issue
Hi,
I have purchased a room under pagdi system since 2010 maharashtra/Mumbai I have only agreement photocopy made between old tenant and new tenant-( I am )
And now I want to register my room paying stamp duty
My queries as below->
1) which are documents I have to
maintain?
2) what is online process for stamp duty payment?
3) what is process for offline stamp duty payment?
4) what is percentage of stamp duty in maharashtra/Mumbai?
5) I have to pay any amount to landlord if I pay stamp duty?
6) I have agreements photocopy where from I get original ?
7) are there any penalty in stamp duty because I since 2010 not paid any duty what is penalty percentage gap between 2010 to 2015?

Sir,
You can neither sell or purchase a pagdi property in Mumbai, you can only get it on rent with the consent of the landlord and become a tenant of the property and are issued a rent receipt.
You have to contact the landlord of the property for further process of payment of stamp duty and registration.

Thanks you for your advice but sir I'm still confuse. according to pagdi system I'm not fully owner of the property I'm rent tender you mean in case I will have to sell a room at that time I have to pay 33% to 40% to landload is different matter but sir my question is how to pay stamp duty under pagdi system i have agreement photocopy and rent receipt since 2010 under pagdi system we have to pay stamp duty or not ?
And how it will calculate as per current market rate or as per 2010 market rate? And what is point we have to take keep in mind?
And how it will process thank you
