Dear Respectable experts,
I am from chennai
My advocate is going to file vakalat on behalf of me on State consumer commission. we have paid some amount to him, but i would like to know the details ,our counsel not telling the detail ,he tells that do not worry i will look it
now i want to know the detail that
On filing vakalat,
What are the stamps to affix in vakalat?
How much amount to affix in each stamp?
On filing the counter statement,
What are the stamps to affix?
How much amount to affix in each stamp?

No stamp duty is at all needed on the petition or the vakaltnama.
Only fees ranging from Rs 200-500 in the dist.consumer forum and from Rs500-5000 is needed in state commission dependig upon the avlue of relief sought for.

these are nominal amounts ,. have faith in your lawyer . the advance fees that you must have paid are for drafting , filing and for appearing before consumer forum for admission .

Thanks for your information.
Respected Ajay sir, i am trusting the lawyer so given case to him.
here i want to know that is there any stamp duty to pay for the state consumer proceedings, so i asked the query to our experts
do not mean that i am not trusting my lawyer.
what is the problem is ,he do not tel descriptively when ever we ask do not worry i will look that, so i had a curiosity to know the information about stamp duty

file an inspection application before court & inspect the file to know all detail if you want

Except the lawyers fee all expenses are nominal. Can inspect the case file to know the stamps used.
