On the first hearing of my divorce case, the dispute has been referred to the mediation centre. Meanwhile, my revision application against interim maintenance is coming for hearing after 3 days. 498a case is also scheduled for hearing next week. Will these cases proceed as usual or the result of mediation will be awaited by the courts?

Mediation has nothing to with the progress of other cases unless both of mutually agree for postment of the same.

The nature of the case referred to mediation need not be the same of the other cases.
So, other cases will proceed in accordance with law.
If you both get compromised on the other cases also through this mediation, based the memo of compromise, you can close the all the cases also.

Nothing left to be added; it would not effect other cases directly; but if you wish you can mention the mediation in other cases and take adjournments.

In the mediation you can make a reference of other pending cases and can ask the mediator to direct her to arrive at a compromise in those cases too provided there appears any compromise situation in the present mediation session about the divorce case being referred to it.
