Dear Sir,

All these nonsense he started just a few days (say 1 month) after the marriage. All these actions forced me to go to my Mother house. I did so, after some days. I have been with my Parent since then. Many times my parent called him on phone to come and get problems fixed through Panchayata. But he did not turn up. Since, ours is poor family and Pune is around 500Km away from Village,We could not able bear the expense to take Village people to Pune.

You are advised to complaint the same to your local police. If police failed to take any action against him , file a complaint before your local Judicial Megistrate Court.

You have several options as You may -

1. File complaint before police or court for the offence 498 (A) IPC.

2- File a complaint for bigamy before court with sound proof.

3- File application for maintenance under 125 Cr.P.C.

4- You can file complaint under Domestic violence Act.

5- You may take help of NGO's or State or central Women's Commission if you find yourself help less.

how can he put an allegation that you are demanding dowry ? Complaint u/s 498 A can be filed, claim maintenance u/s 125 and DV Act as well. If you wish to stay with your husband also file petition u/s 9 HMA and also a complaint for Bigamy. For all these litigations, you may approach Legal Aid Services Authority of your Area who would also provide you Lawyer free of cost.
