Suit for malicious prosecution!!

i have been discharged from Domestic violence case in which i suffered both mentally and my reputation is also hampered.

Can i file a suit for malicious prosecution against the complainant?

Also in Law of Torts, does malicious prosecution suit lies againt malicious civil prosecution?

You can go ahead and file the desired litigation.
