Suit for permanent injunction

Sir,

My uncle had purchased a plot through GPA in year 1997 in unauthorized colony of delhi and the same plot has been purchased by me from my uncle through GPA in the year 2004.

Recently he told me on phone that he has cancelled the GPA? But I do not received any written intimation through him.

The chain of both original GPA documents (Uncle GPA & My GPA)are in my custody. The current GPA include a invoke clause in the Affidavit.

Is it should be possible to cancelled the GPA and what measures I will have to taken?

I contacted a Advocate and he advised my to file a suit for permanent injunction in court.

Is it is right advised to first file a case in court by me first.
