my friend is an officer . she was suspended as there was complaint given by a person that she took bribe. inquiry departmental inquiry proved that my friend took bribe . she lost her salary for 4 years but supreme court gave a clean chit and reinstated now can my friend sue the complaintant and the inquiry officer .

No. The Enquiry Officer did his duty as per orders of his/her higher authority. The complaint made by the complainant that your took bribe and it is proved in the inquiry.

sir now can only the complainant be sued as he gave a false complaint as
supreme court reinstated the officer
giving a clean chit
