Sir, I want to go on hunger strike against injustice done by the bank management in which I am officer. I have given ultimatum to the bank management that if within 15 days my long pending issues not solved, I will go on hunger strike till the death.
I have mailed and sent it by regd. post AD.to the bank management as well as to the district collector and commissioner of police,
Please guide me wheather i have done correct? If not, what is the mistake? what to do now?

Sir, Thank you for your valuable comment. Sir, Please, I want to know about when I go on hunger strike, what will be the stratgy for me, which type of drinks or any other should be taken by me during the hunger strike?
Sir, I also wants to send the copy of my representation i.e.'ULTIMATUM' of hunger strike given to the Bank Management for your kind honour as well as for the viewers of LCI for their knowledge and comments of guidance on it. How can it to be sent or enclosed?

for the redressal of your grievances,such pressure tactics may not work.
further,you are risking your job,when there are many conventional,grievance redressal channels are available for an employee.

Dear Mahendra Kumar,
When adament and egoistic authorities do not move by requests of the employee, the depressed employee tries to take some harsh steps. Going to court of law is also a type of pressure tactics, which even involves a lot of time and expnditure. Let him try his selected methods, which is a Gandhian way. He is not adopting coercive way like the violent unionists. If his demands are right and genuine, the authorities would definitely listen to him, as he has duly informed the civil authorities also about his intention by giving a notice to each.

Thank you,Shri PS Dhingra Sir. My demands are right and genuine and I am of firm opinion as like you that Gandhian way is the effective way even in this present "YUG" (i.e. time)instead of going to other redressal channels as told by Shri Mahendrakumar because they are costly as well as it involves a lot of time. I was so mild, but the Bank Management force me and teach me to go ahead to fight against adament and egoistic authorities.

Whether as per CDA Rules (if Govt Bank) or certifiied rules (private Bank) you are allowed to be on strike?
Whther ID Act applies on your position?

Sir, No. I am officer in nationalised bank.
It is our constitutional right, that I believe. Hunger strike is the peaceful & powerful way to represent one's right and genuine demands, nothing else, Sir.

Definitely, you are not a slave to the egoistic authorities in democratic India and have the right to agitate and demonstrate that in peaceful manner, if the authorities prefer to close their eyes and ears on the genuine rights and problems of an employee.

Sir, new problem has been arised. Bank Management have ammended in the system and the limit of my staff overdraft account enhanced from Rs.350000/- to Rs.370000/- without my request/consent/knowledge and debited Rs.20000/- towards advance taken against training given to me of which HA/TA claim is pending long with Bank Management. Neither the Management have sanctioned nor demanded new claim papers in case of original which may be lost at their end.I have already submitted and also reminded for it to the management. In this account my salary is credited every month. The salary of February credited on 29/02/2012, but the system has deducted it automatically towards the ammendment done by the management. Sir, nothing is left for me. Now, problem is what to eat and how to survive without money.My son who is MBBS and studying in PG at Ahmedabad is not keeping well. I am on leave to look after him from last sunday. I have represented the matter to the Regional Authority and CMD of the Bank by mail, yesterday night and requested to reverese and recredit the entry of Rs.20000/- within 24 hours, and if it is not done within 24 hours, all the responsibilities of the consequencies arise out of the cirmstances will be of the Management.
Please guide me.

I have two options:
1. lodge police complaint against the bank management for fraud done by them in my account, by doing ammendment in the system without giving me the proper notice, without my consent/request/knowledge.
2. file suit against the bank management for fraud done by them in my account and for the mental torturing, under Atrocity Act 1989 and rules 1995
Please guide me in the matter.

you being an officer of a nationalised bank,I dont think,your agitation would help in such matters.
why should the management of a nationalised bank indulge such things purposely,as nobody is financially gaining.
and where is the question of fraud,as it could be some omission/oversight at some clerical level.
it would be better not blow the issues out of proportionately.what are your specific issues with the management other than this wrong debit,which could be rectified without any police complaint or agitations,as there are ample provisions for redressal of such things.

Dear Nayak,
You have not mentioned what is the link of staff overdraft of Rs.350000 or Rs.370000 with your case and what was the purpose of debit of Rs.20,000 to your personal account? If you have not availed the enhanced limit of overdraft, what can be the probable reason for debit to your personal account.
It is also not understood, how you consider that the bank has made a fraud with you for Rs.20000?
Further, you must not forget that any rule or instruction to be made by the bank to run the administration is the prerogative of the management, and the authorities are not supposed to consult each and every member of the staff. I suppose, the new system would be applicable to the whole of the staff and would not have affected only you amongst all of the staff members.
So, unless you clear the first two points and why your consent was necessary to be taken in the increase of limit of overdraft, you are not likely to get appropriate solution to your problem.

Hon. Shri Dhingra Sir,
Namaskar. The problem is solved by the interfearance of the Union Leaders.They established it as blunder mischief of the Local Management at Regional Office level. General Manager(Gujarat) instructed Regional Manager to reverse the entry immediately..It is reversed and recredited to my salary account, yesterday. Now, I got full salary. Mr. Nayak,
Thanks for updating me. Please accept my hearty congratulations on your success to achieve at least one goal.
About your hunger strike notice, if you decide to implement, the notice can be acted upon after the expiry date. It would however be better for you to make aware of the notice to all the concerned authorities by attaching one copy of the original notice also. That would be a sort of reminder to them all.

Words changed in reminder :
Ultimatum of Hunger Strike - till the long pending issues regarding my self not settled positively.Date and Venue of Hunger Strike is intimated to the Bank Management.
"till the death" words are deleted in the reminder because it was reported that due that word, management had deceided to lodge FIR against me with the meaning of the words"till the death" = SUICIDE

Sir, what are the provisions made in Indian Constitution regarding 'Hunger Strike'. Under which 'ANUCHCHED' a Indian Citizen get the right to go to on 'Hunger Strike'?
Please, reply me as early as possible.
