Sir, One of my friend who has been working in a software company has been dismissed from employment without giving any proper reason or notice, whom should he approach to address his grievance, Would HRC would be of any help or should he approach a court of law?

If he is not in Managerial position then he can lodge complaint with labour Commissioner. Else civil suit is only remedy.

Your friend should pray for the full and final accounts and should change his employment though he is entitled for the grant of service/notice pay.
