Sir,
I was working as a Tax Assistant in Indian customs, Mumbai from 22.05.2009 to 02.12.2011. After that I have joined the post of Inspector of Central Excise, Bangalore on 05.12.2012. I have joined as an Inspector after submitting my Technical resignation from Indian Customs, Mumbai and the same was accepted. Since, I have worked 2 years and six months in Indian Customs, Mumbai and there is no break in my service, Will my previous service be counted. I have also pass the confirmation examination, but confirmation order is yet to be issued. Please reply.

Submission of technical resignation and acceptance of technical resignation are two different things. You have not mentioned about the process of your application and selection as Inspector of Central Excise, i.e., whether you submitted your application through proper channel or direct for the purpose of selection as Inspector?
If you applied through proper channel and your resignation has duly been accepted treating that as technical resignation, your past service can be taken in to account in the present department also.

I have applied through proper channel for the post of Central Excise Inspector. Indian Customs, Mumbai has relieved me after accepting my technical resignation. But I am covered in New Pension Schemes. Will my past service be counted

Your past service will be counted for the purpose of pay fixation and other retirement benefits, like gratuity. For pension purposes, your service would however be regulated under the new (contributory) pension scheme.
