Tenant nusiance

(Querist) 27 October 2011 This query is : Resolved
in the first half i wrote about the neighbour child troubling us and about the mother using verbal language, and her husband who is a retired military person...the original landlord is staying in london,i spoke to their landlord brother-in-law regarding the problem instead he was saying that his relatives are working in commisioner office it is of no use by giving complain to the commisioner they will instead troublem me,he knows people all over, this is the reply what i got,and the tenant turned the whole story around and showed that they are innocent, they have not taken permission from the society for keeping the tenant, and this flat is of mahada, the society was formed many years back, but they have not maintained any thing,i have informed the members of the society also about the behaviour also........menatll harrasment, verbal harrasment, property damaged, ringing the bell, closing the main switch of the electric meter, tearing letters and so.........what can be done
no police verification is also done regarding the tenant........
ajay sethi (Expert) 27 October 2011
in my reply to your query i had mentioned that permission from society is must if you desire to keep a tenant . the society can also insist on police verification .

if it is not done and society is not taking action then you can lodge complain with registrar hat byelaws are not being followed . registrar will issue notice to society

you file a complaint in your jurisdiction police station, if they are not take action then you approach the DSP office , if fail , then SP office. if fail then you approach the Commissioner office, there also no responsible then approach a lawyer and file a petition before court with all petition forwarded to police department.

This is great misuse of the column.

This query has been repeatedly appearing though has been adequately advised by most of us.
I think this type of conduct should be discouraged by all of us in not answering any further.
