IN GENERAL TERM AND TERMS ARE TWO DIFFERENT WORDS.
1TERM MEANS PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT.
PERMANENT / CASUAL /DAILY RATED /TRAINEE ON STIPEND FOR SPECIFIC TERM /PROBATION .
2.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT WILL BE INCLUDED IN YOUR JOB OFFER LETTER GO THROUGH SAME CAREFULY .IN CASE ANY NOTICE PERIOD IS MENTIONED BEFORE LEAVING EMPLOYMENT /ANY BOND TO BE SIGNED FOR SERVING FOR ANY PARTICULAR NO.OF YEARS AND BOND AMOUNT TO BE PAID TO CO.AT THE TIME OF LEAVING THE JOB BEFORE THE BOND PERIOD IS OVER .THESE ARE IMPORTANT FACTORS.
3.JOB ON PERMANENT BASIS /ON PROBATION /AS A TRAINEE ON STIPEND /APPRENTICE ON STIPEND /CASUAL WORKERS / DAILY RATED STAFF.
ALL THESE CATAGORIES HAVE DIFFERENT TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT AS PER SERVICE REGULATION OF THAT ORGANISATION PLEASE NOTE.

THANKS FOR RESPONDING.
Actually I wanted to know about the benefits (on employer side )of offering fixed term employment for a period of six months . In case we offer the fixed term employment, pl advise how to address EPF & ESIC issues in such case
