A company have agreement with one contractor for providing housekeeping services. Contractor have removed from the services without wages a office boy as he have taken 10 days leave for marriage. can company enforce the contractor to pay wages and restore the service of the office boy. Thanks

office boy was employed by contractor not company . it can only request the contractor to reconsider his decision

yes you can direct the contract to reconsider
but if the office boy services also need even after contract you can continue him

Not legally.Only gentleman request on humanitarian ground possible.May be contractor pays heed due to gain under
contract with company or due tofear of
it's loosing,things may get settled.

Principal employer is legally bound to ensure the timely payment of the wages and compliance of other labour laws from the contractor towards his employees as per Payment of Wages Act, 1936.
